Why is our camp different?

Coaching, that's why. What is personal coaching? Its the process of helping you develop the skills to get things done. Like have you ever noticed that many, I mean many people know how to lose weight. Have you also noticed that knowing how to lose weight and actually losing weight are two different things.

The mind is one of the most misunderstood organs in our bodies. There is a strong direct link and correlation between the mind and body. How much do we work on training our minds.
This shows up when no matter what we do we can't seem to overcome some obstacle in our lives.
I have trained many clients who have mastered many areas of their lives and yet can't seem to overcome their fitness or eating habits. I am happy to say that this program can and does all of that and more.

Another theory I subscribe to is that there is a mind-body or brain-body connection because they are one and the same. It is simply that we do not always know how to make them communicate effectively. The brain needs the heart to bring it oxygen-rich blood, while the heart needs the brain to feed it information to do so.

In sports and physical activity, this is brought to a whole new level. You may have an incredible physical talent and ability but, when the mind isn't’t trained to deliver the final blow, the fight may never be won. It’s much more than telling yourself, “I can do it! I can do it!” It’s more of a mind set and a skill that will only come with time and practice. Mental fitness comes in different forms: determination, focus, persistence, insight, and the ability to listen to your body and hear what it’s telling you. Now is the time to take a look at these various aspects to see what may be lacking as well as which ones are strong. Why are they lacking? Why are they strong? When and how did I acquire these skills? Take a moment to understand them because they are the elements to optimal fitness!"

 

Every week we will be on a telecall to all our participants to teach you all about fitness lifestyle coaching and life coaching in general . We will also be working on nutrition to a great degree. Through our back end "FORUM" which is exclusive to Calgary Alberta Boot Camp Members you'll have access to articles, assessments and pdf files that I sell on my web sites for thousands of dollars.

How Does The Coaching Process Work?

It is for those individuals who have a strong desire to change and who are committed to becoming masters of their lives. As a Life Coach, I am a consultant for your life - I help you to better strategies your "life game." Unlike a therapist, I do not "treat" your life; I help you "focus" your life to obtain results. I don't make judgments of you; I do validate and motivate you. As your Coach, I will assist you in defining your personal values and help you shape a path toward defined goals. One step at a time, week-by-week, you will put strategies into action and generate results that empower you with life-sustaining skills, and develop a life-mission statement that gives balance and meaning to your life.


Depending upon your desire and needs, ABC coaching sessions are normally provided weekly, . The sessions are generally 1 - 2 HRs in duration and are conducted via the telephone. . An Email check-in is required 24 hrs before a session, outlining any breakthroughs since the last session, current concerns, new goals, and questions you might have of me. Together we monitor your progress, assess outcome, and tweak the plan, if necessary. Positive thinking is stressed; sinking thinking is defeated.
